Will the machine work on small row spacing (3 feet)?

Our machines operate best on standard 4-foot or 3.5-foot spacing. If your spacing is narrower (3ft), please send a photo or consult us first to ensure the tires fit without damaging the crop.

Does the rental include the operator and fuel?

The rental includes a skilled operator/driver. Fuel (diesel) is typically provided by the farmer or charged separately, depending on the agreed package.

Will machine harvesting damage the roots (Ratoon) for next year?

No. Modern harvesters use precision base-cutters that slice cleanly at ground level. This prevents root uprooting and actually promotes better sprouting for the ratoon crop compared to uneven manual cutting.

Can I rent the machine for just 1 or 2 acres?

We prioritize larger bookings to manage transport logistics, but we do serve small farmers if we are already operating in your nearby village. Grouping orders with neighbors is recommended.

What is the rental price per acre for the machine?

Rental rates depend on the total area (acres) and transport distance. Typically, machine harvesting is faster and cheaper than manual labor. Contact us for the current season's rate card per hour or per ton.

My field has 3-foot spacing. Will the machine fit?

Standard harvesters require 4-foot spacing. For 3-foot or 3.5-foot spacing, we use specific narrow-track machines. Please share a photo of your field on WhatsApp so we can confirm before booking.

Does the rental include a driver/operator?

Yes. All our rentals come with a highly skilled operator. You do not need to hire a separate driver. The operator manages the cutting height, direction, and loading.

Will machine harvesting damage the roots (Ratoon)?

No. In fact, machine cutting is often better for ratoon crops because the base-cutter slices cleanly at ground level, preventing the fungal infections often caused by uneven manual cutting. To ensure maximum sprouting, we also recommend applying Bannari Amman Bio-Fertilizers immediately after harvest.

Who pays for Diesel/Fuel?

Fuel is generally not included in the base rental price. Farmers provide the diesel based on consumption, or we can offer an "all-inclusive" package. This will be clarified before the machine arrives.

Can I rent for small land (1-2 acres)?

We prioritize bulk orders to save on transport costs. However, if we are already working in a nearby field in your village, we can definitely harvest your 1-2 acres. Group booking with neighbors is recommended.

How many tons can it harvest in one day?

Under good field conditions, a single machine can harvest 150 to 200 tons per day (approx. 4-5 acres). This is significantly faster than manual teams, helping you reach the sugar factory on time. Do I need to provide food/stay for the operator?

For short jobs (1-2 days), it is not required. For longer contracts (1 week+), providing basic accommodation and food for the operator is standard practice and highly appreciated.
